I owned a Chimaera before my T350 and noticed then that the raise angle of standard car ramps was too steep to avoid scraping body parts as the car goes up so I produced a drawing and had made up some special ramps with a long runway so that the front or back clears the ground with no scraping. They work fine on the T350 too which has smaller ground clearance in some areas to the Chimaera.
If a set is of interest to TVR owners that like driveaway tinkering, let me know, they could be powder coated colour to suit your vehicle! Cost would be dependant on qty and shipping but if there are serious enquiries, a set would give you access to clean and repair areas that would normally be available only to pit owners. Obviously, you would use them at your own risk, but I posted this because your collective comments have helped me and its a way of giving something back.

I just made some out of 2" planks overlapped to form a stepped ramp - so I can drive up in 2" steps, and stop on a flat surface at any point.

The only way I found to get my old Chimaera on to the garage workshop car ramps was to reverse onto them.
They would have been very useful at the time though as I was going nuts trying to find that elusive squeak.

OK Thanks for the comments,Photos will follow at the weekend, weather permitting. I will try and model a 350 and a Chimaera.
Mine have seen TVR tinkering use from 2002. The long runway suits the 1100kg vehicle weight and overall width of the arrival platform is 330 mm so this should cater for most tyres.

I got hardwood railway sleepers for about £12 and chainsawed 4 ramps out. I left 2 long, so I can reverse up and along them and then put the two short ones in front and put the front wheels up on them to raise the car evenly about 6". You could make the same thing with steel, but not so easy to saw a bit off if they are a bit steep.
