Impulse buying is a terrifying affliction:

I walked into edinburgh city centre to buy some trainers a year ago, and couldn't see any i liked. Thought to myself "this is dull, i'm sure there's a TVR dealer around here, I'm gonna blag a test drive!"

Jumped in my Kraut-wagon and drove out to the dealer. 15 minute test drive, 20 grand lighter. Owned Chim 400. Oops. That's an expensive pair of trainers. (but still something sporty sitting on rubber)

TVR Saleasman - easiest job in the world.

I keep meaning to buy a house, but i'm scared of impulse buying an aircraft carrier!

Enjoy!!!!!

I'm a real old git (or so my youngest 20yr old son keeps telling me!) However I have just re afirmed my standing in the 'pack' by buying my first TVR, a Chimaera 96 N in Azure Blue. It is b****y fantastic!!
I have demonstrated to all my sons, daughters in law etc, all they can say after a ride is 'Bloody Hell'!!.......
Its a great car.

Nessy,

welcome the the TVR gang! I had similar responses when I got my Chimp, I now have a Cerby and the responses get better or worse depending on how you rate 'F*****g H**l I just crapped myself' which is what my dad said. I had never heard him swear before that

Happy driving

Well done Nessy - love the old impulse buying!!
The dealer I bought from said he wouldn`t start the car because if he did I would buy it - guess what - he started it and I bought it !! TVR salesman - what a job - seriously good way to make a living!!

All the best
