We are planning on popping down to Chatsworth for April the 27th. Can anyone recommend any good cheap accommodation in the area with good fairly safe car parking? We are considering camping, B&B's and Pubs. Any suggestions will be gladly received as the only decent B&B's and Pubs ask for a minimum booking of 2 nights at the weekend.

Quite a few places in Matlock and surrounding area. Sherrif Lodge is supposed to be good: 01629 760760

Sherriff Lodge also has a policy of a 2 night minimum booking at weekends. Seems to be very common with B&B's in the area

Eaten there loads of times, its ok. I prefer Fischers (Michelin star) or Hassop Hall (with very secure parking).

Fox House pub a great location for the chatsworth meet and cheap to stay in
plus you could always join the south yorkshire tvrcc at the moorlands pub at 10.30 to travel in convoy which is only about 2mins away

Hope this helps

PM me if you want any more info
