Just had a little pressie from a fellow motorist, a nice little ding in the back of the V8S - pushed the rear rubber moulding out of shape, but nothing else apparent yet 'cos the cars so bl**dy filthy with road salt etc. etc. I think I got off lightly! Any other horror stories recently?

Well, I'm feeling a little unhappy at the moment too, although not as bad as you! The Chimaera's starter motor is playing up and it is getting more and more tricky to get the old girl going. Fernies can't take it in until 2nd Jan, so to avoid any embarrasing RAC moments I have decided not to use it until then.
I suppose though every cloud has a silver lining - or two.
1. Can drink loads and not get tempted to go for a spin
2. The offending item is under warranty.

Still makes me want to

Slight "over-enthusiastic" moment pulling away at the Dartford crossing tolls last night...

The wheels just span, span, span!

Must have been icy, of course!!!

this really makes my blood boil. Getting caught by a gritter in UK is like being sprayed with machine gun fire

Can't we make them liable for the damage?!? What DO they use?? I even had a dent on the roof once.

What's more, it doesn't happen on the continent.

Parked a Griff on a roundabout near Hull.
Wasn't even in a hurry.
Many wrecked wheels.
Much work for the bodyshop.
Much festive merriment for all my mates.

'My diary simply read: bugger'
I'd love to hear anyone else's mishaps. Might make me feel better.
Merry Christmas all.

There's a space in my garage where my Chimaera used to be - it's gone as p/ex on my Tamora. So my girlfriend decided on Christmas day that it would be nice to put her Bravo in the garage to keep the frost off. I hadn't expected this turn of events, so I parked less tightly to the side than normal. Result? Huge scrape all down the rear offside of her Bravo, with nice dent, my BMW offside wing is scraped and bent, and she managed to clout my bike, 2 kid's bikes, and mashed her front NEARSIDE wing on the handle of a rotavator I keep in the garage! she didn't even notice she'd hit anything!! Bless her little cotton socks!!
