Drivel is determined to take over the world! I'm damn bloody sure of it! Whilst i was having a gaze at the Freeserve homepage, my attention was grabbed by a link to Road Tests. After a couple of minutes I found the Cerbera road test. A road test written by 4Car. This didn't immediatly ring any bells, after all, I don't watch Drivel anymore, and who the hell were 4Car??! Whilst I was reading said Cerbera road test, little bells started to ring when certain phrases cropped up, "Not as easy to live with as a Porsche" "Family Car" "You won't get 10 years of shopping bags in the Boot" etc. Then I read this one!

"Top speed is a near-alarming 160mph and oddly, both the six and the V8 perform similarly. Of the two, the six is the more civil."

And people ask why it's called Drivel?? The Top speed is not 160mph! Will somebody tell these stupid F*cking people they don't know what they are talking about!!! WHY? Why do they insist on talking cr*p! Does it win them any friends?? No! Does it get them respect? No! Does it make petrol sniffers like PH readers go ?? YES IS BLOODY DOES!!!!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Excuse me! I need a or two!!

(An Angry and slightly rageful)
Stuart!!

Oh, Merry Christmas to all but 4Car! (*******)

Drivel really is sh*te.

I've just visited the 4Car web site and looked at the chat forums, you've only got to read though some of the sh*te they talk about on there to realise the audiance that Drivel appeals to.

A friend reminded me the other day about their X-Type, BMW 3-series and Audi A4 review - got the top speeds of the A4 and the 3-series as 115..... Now, I could have sworn that it was a touch higher than that for the 3 litre variants...

Now, I know that this has been covered in a different link. But it gives you an insight as to how sloppy the programming is - if you can make such a mistake as that - and broadcast it to millions... Imagine if you worked for Audi or BMW PR - you would go balistic.....

If they get that wrong, what else have they got wrong that we havent noticed yet?

Cheers,

Paul

you'll be pleased th hear that the 4car link to the TVR Road tests has mysteriously stopped working... the others are all fine, so perhaps they are " re-visiting" that section of their site...?

Cheers

if the 'porsche' section goes down for more than 4 hours it links you to the audi site to keep you on line until it's sorted.
