As far as I know there were 5 Speed 12 engines built. 1 in the original speed 12 race car (the white one), 3 were used in different variations of the Cerbera Speed 12 (there was a white one, the scania blue one, and the black one), and of course the road car. Where are the other parts for the 12s engines, and also where is the bodywork and chassis?

The road car was built by scavenging bits from the racers so none of them would be complete. I guess there's a chance the owner of the Speed12 has some bits as spares. Otherwise I'd guess they were at the factory and either were shipped off with the rest of the bits into storage or dumped.

Only one left is the road car.
Only two race cars built, both stripped for parts and the black race car chassis was scrap after Thruxton..........
The purple car had some cage tubes cut out so it could used as a road car.

There was *allegedly* at least one complete(ish) left in the factory prior to closing day.

Hang on, so how come 5 engines were built? And the Purple One (by this I take it you mean the original SP12, which is this: ) was actually used as a road car? I thought that was only a rolling chassis and was found lying around in a garage in the midlands somewhere? Also Terminator, you saw a nearly complete Cerbera Speed 12 lying around in the factory? If there was a last car around, where will it be now? It's all very convaluted as to what was, and what wasn't, a car with an engine in.

No, I saw a Speed 12 engine, not a car.

Obscure TVR fact of the evening...
The AP pedal box assembley in my Tuscan was originally built for, and fitted to one of the Speed 12 race cars ,apparently.

I want a bit of a Speed 12. Any bit, just a bit. Be it a wheel hub, or some obscure part of the engine. I just want something so I can say I own a little bit of the best car ever. :-)
