I assume you mean Silverstone Performance SP12s? Speed 12 wheels might be a bit expensive. wink

I've had my SP12s for almost two years on South Yorkshires bumpy raods and they are all still round. Makes them stronger in my book. I replaced three spiders in the first two years.

SP12s are quite cheap if you buy them from the manufacturer - am sure they probably do 19s.

Changed from Spiders to SP12's (18&quotwink last summer for a number of reasons, cosmetic and handling among them. Not only does the car look stunning with them (I have racing silver on a Moonraker Black Cerbera), but the car is much more solid on the road, it doesn't skip around anymore and I have much more steering lock too!

More effort required to clean them though, but I'm not complaining smile.

Shall I post a picture? bouncewink

SP12 wheels on my T350R racer. Stronger and lighter than spiders. I tend to use a lot of kerb on the race tracks and the SP12s have stood up to the job well. The front spiders on my cerb however are no longer round!

I thought that they were only available from Silverstone - unless you want the inferior, (weaker, wrong centrebore etc.) base version, but then it wouldn't be a SP12.

They are the same wheel but with some Silverstone requested changes post manufacture - as I understand it silverstone get the rim edge machined to remove the wording. They arent weaker. Do you tink Silverstone have commissioned their own wheels? That would cost a fortune that wouldnt be a sound move for anyone but a car manufacturer.

As I recollect Silverstone have stated on here that they have done a great deal more than you suggest, including the use of a stronger alloy etc.

I have no connection with Silverstone and am not going to spend an age searching but credit where it's due...
