I think they are all indies now as said?
TVR Power, coventry, are the 'most' affiliated, if there is such a thing?!
David Gerald in Inkberrow (Near Redditch) are also still open, they used to be official dealerships, now working independantly i believe.
Heard nothing bad bout either of these two.
If you want a good service, indies are just as good if not better, if you use the right ones. My vote goes to Automedon in Blackpool, every time.

All the main dealers are now ex-main dealers, because TVR is sadly an ex-car manufacturer. Even if they still have the old TVR signs outside the doors.
The real difference is prices as the ex-main dealers still try to charge main dealer prices.
Most of the independents are ex main dealer employees.
Choose on the reputation. It is the ability to consistantly satisfy customers with a job well done that matters.
Get several opinions. Post on here the name of the one you think is the most likely you will use. Ask anyone with anything bad to say to let you know by PM.
Most will have a few customers unhappy about little things, but any firm that has a real horror storys or lots of bad reports should avoided.
Those that do good work are in the minority. They often have waiting lists of weeks before they can see your car.
The first place I went to had a habit of charging, but not actualy carrying out the work.
Unfortunately, it took me a while to catch them. My car had an intermittent electrical problem. One of the places that could have caused the symptoms is a poor earth behind the block.
I paid this independant to strip it and check. They said they had stripped it and made sure the earth was good and charged me. This week V8D had the same area stripped down. They found the earth wire was broken and the bare end was touching earth, so it worked most of the time.
It had been like it for a very long time. The local independant hadn't done the work at all. Still at least they hadn't done any damage that time.
The car had been taken away from them because of the dangerous workmanship they had done. Any firm that has a 'little accident' with a welding torch, keeps quiet and gives the car back with a hole in the wishbone has no right to be in business.
I can't name them here, but I live in Kent, so you probably won't come this way for servicing anyway.
