scratchchin Saw a banner add on the forum for Offord TVR specialist cars, they said that they will services a Tam or T350 6k all in at £295 and the 12k services including tappit adjustments for £499, sounds to good to be true and these things usually are !!

I live not to far from Cambridgeshire so might be worth me considering if anyone has some positive feedback !?smile

The saying is would not touch it with a barge pole.

You may want to PM him for his thoughts. remember its just one side, so try and work out both sides.

Thanks for your comments, now I understand !!! I think thats all I needed to know.
The closest dealer/service center to me is Castle TVR so might use them if they are better.

Has anyone got any feedback on Castles TVR at Stansted, Essex ??

Not seen what their service menu is, but I would be very suprised if they can do a thorough 12K service on a T car for £425 inclusive of all parts.

I own a Griff that I bought from David Gerald TVR of Worcs. Would recommend them whole heartedly.

However, due to the fact that I live over 100 miles away from them I thought I would use my local "TVR specialist" Offord Motor Co for servicing.

On the subject of Offord let me just say that I went there once and will not be going back there.

I would buy a car from them though if it was the right one.

I will be visiting Sebring International in the Spring and I understand that they are very good.

Yes, basic prices seem good but just wait until you get the final bill !
I used them once. Don't have any positive feedback.

I had them do a cam change when I had my wedge a few years ago. Quoted £800, final bill £1800. I,ll say no more !

I used Offord this year to MOT my Griff and to change dampers + geo set up.

Great guys, good service, courtesy car, reasonable price.

The fact that their workshop is generally booked 3 weeks in advance tells you something.

PS - My Griff is serviced at Tower View.
