Does any one know if there is any company that specialises in putting a LS1 Chevvy unit into a Tamora or T350?

Nobody specialises in this as such because there are to many variables. You'll need a biggish wallet then you expect and some defined objectives.

Ls1's are obsolete now so you won't find a new one. I wouldn't install a used one unless the customer had bought it. You can buy used ls1/6's or newer ls2's for reasonable money.

I can put you in contact with the chief engineer at Marcos, who developed the engines in that car. He is absolutely brilliant and a nice guy and would be interested I think in helping you out! and why go LS1 why not do LS2! that is what is in the Marcos with 474BHP! enough power pull a bloody house down!!

LOL, I shouldn't say this and I know you mean well but he had a very short career there whoever he is! Not his fault though, probably as short as my development involvement. They got through an awful lot of people in a short time and ended up with 6 cars. The marcos was never 'finished' and the mapping would seem to be wrong no doubt due to the lack of development.

First decision by OP should be whether to use a stock ecu and remap or go aftermarket ecu.

Ls1 and Ls2 obsolete now. Go for an LS3 relatively cheap.

Good idea but there's no software for it afaik although an aftermarket pcm could be used and remapped.

Ok from the outside i can understand where you are comming from, but unless you know him or the situation we were in, I don't think you should comment. The guy is brilliant and with what we had in regards of time and money, the project got done to the best of its ability. He really is a genius. Marcos used an Omex ECU and I also know the man at Omex who can now supply the right mapping. They can also put throttle boddies on an ls2/ls6 with the correct map!

True! wouldn't say obsolete, but this is the latest varient with the exception of going LS7 dry sump etc.. but Omex would be able to help out with the map on the LS3.

You'll have had a very short hand, some tight reigns and completion required within a fortnight in time for the next show or media event.

Just looked at your website, didn't know TS had so many ideas or are those your own designs? If somebody buys the IPR from TS, as well as Marcos engineering then one of those could still happen.

Was there another car under development, SK mentioned something designed to look like a Sunbeam Alpine

I did these drawings for Marcos, BUT!!!!! they don't own them. I was one of the design team members, and those pictures as well as a few more I did including a quarter scale were done to attract dealers and potential customers. Those in the know e.g BOSS CERBERA, Gary Champ, Giles Cooper, Doug @ David Gerald, have all seen these before.

i have put ls1,ls2, std and tuned into mazda rx7s,tvr cerberas,(brummiewedges car),and helped with a few other ls conversions (escort cos,m3 e30) give us a call if you fancy one fitting i dont see why ls1s are obsolete as its still a good motor (and very tunable) but a ls2 is just as easy to fit cheers craig 01217530415 07950399080
