Wanted - set of uprights from Cerbera/Tuscan/Tamora/T350/Sag
Discussion
Hi all
Slightly long shot and I can always go to the breakers who will supply a full set for £400...
I am after a set of uprights from any post Chim/Griff TVR (they are all the same). By uprights I mean the parts that bolt to the wishbones front and rear including the hubs/bearing carriers, but excluding brake callipers.
I am considering changing the uprights on my race car as they use Granada bearings which are a little small for race purposes, particularly now we are running with effective aero. The more modern road cars use bigger Jeep bearings.
Ideally I would be looking to borrow a front and a rear upright to assess whether the re-engineering of race wishbones to get them to fit is worth the hassle. Assuming the answer is yes then I would be looking to buy a full set.
I suspect this is a part that none of you ever change, but thought it would be worth a try...
Many thanks
Andy
