TVRs Racing in the PRO-MIL GT Cup
Discussion
Just to give the heads up to those who don't venture into the Cerbera or Tuscan Challenge forums, two Tuscan Challenge cars, the Cerbera and T350 (if Cliff can get his engine in by then), are racing in the PRO-MIL GT Cup at Snetterton next Sunday.
The field is swelling and already had 6 Ferrari 360s, 9 Porsche GT3's, the TVRs, 2 Marcos and Nissan, Lotus, BMW and Morgan are stepping up. It is an event for cars that originally started as production sports or GT cars.
Racing on Sunday starts with Palmer Audi at 10.00 am, we're on at 10.40 and 14.05 in two 30 minute races. Testing and qualifying are on Saturday.
If you're about come over and say hello!

Good luck all. Who are the two entering the Tuscan Challenge cars?
Interesting when I spoke to Marc Haynes he thought TC cars wouldn't be eligible due to power and the fact they dont have a roof so aren't GT cars....teamHOLDENracing said:

I think you misread the post Andy, the TC cars are the Cerbera and T350. This is one of the problems of racing in a series called the Tuscan and Sagaris Challenge when you actually race something else. The race Tuscans and Sags won't be eligible for this series, neither is a production or GT car. And I don't think they are going to struggle for numbers either, if everything goes well I'll definitely be running in this series next year. Can't wait to be racing against 360 & 355 Fezzas, 911s, Marcos, Ginettas and loads of other GT spec motors. If Kev gets his T350 together I think he's going to run in this too.So if anyone wants to see how the TVRs get on against the pasta and pork then pop over to Snett this weekend, should be a good one.

Wish I had used that phrase!!
I've had a lot of dialogue with the race series regs officer and the T350 and the Cerb are about right, we are also lapping the relevant circuits at a similar speed to the other cars so it appears that it will be close racing.
I've just come back from the Porsche test track, last week, in Liepzig and have been out in a Racing GT3 and it seemed very similar to the Cerb but didn't smell of melting plastic when it was on full chat for 10 minutes!
