Ok hello there all

I really want the TVR T350 !!! I have an RX8 just now which is ok ?

I drive to scotland every 2 weeks for work and then back! but in the winter i am looking to garage the car rear wheel drive n all

Is the T350 a kinda car that you can just have as a every day car ?

Is it ok on the long runs or just going down town for a buttie ?.

Cost of petrol is'nt an issue or repair costs?......

Thanks look forward to a reply ?. Paul

NO CONTEST THOUGH, IS THERE? RX8, S2K, BOXSTERS ALL TEN A PENNY. BY COMPARISON THERE WERE UNDER 400 T350C/T'S MADE

T350 WILL RELISH LONG RUNS. CARE NEEDED IN WET FOR SURE. IF STORING USE AN ACCUMATE

MINE IS MY ONLY CAR BUT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE RELIED ON TO COMMUTE EVERYDAY - NO PROBS IN 9 MONTHS OWNERSHIP, THROUGH

Is it ok on the long runs or just going down town for a buttie ?.
FORMER YES, LATTER NOT IN THE LONG TERM. SP6 DOESN'T APPRECIATE STOP/START SHORT TRIPS AND MOST ENGINE DAMAGE DONE WHEN COLD - SEE OTHER FORUMS ON HERE

Cost of petrol is'nt an issue or repair costs?......
GOOD, BOTH WILL BE HIGH!

Thanks look forward to a reply ?. Paul

So buying a car from here ? is it easy ? and reliable ?.

What kind of money would i be looking at paying for a very good example ?

Silver is the colour i want, the interior could be anything bar the green one that i have seen on here !!!!! what is that all about ?????.

No more/less so than anywhere else. History is everything IMO. Make sure you check SH carefully. The spec is personal choice - few if any t350s will be identical. Also no. of owners, failures/new bits (some post 2005 engine work is good), whose done the servicing (there are some excellent indies). Usual stuff on a specialist car, really. Go and look at a few. Dealer prices are very optimistic, currently, but a good time of year for a private deal. There are plenty of genuine people on here who will be open to offers, but be realistic.

How deep are your pockets? 2003 = +/- 20k - 'new' late £30k's

Lots of silvers. Spectraflair is a lovely finish but £000's to respray. Straighforward silver can look a bit ... dull, again only MHO. Grigario is nice. Mine's iced titatium. Know what you mean about that interior, though!!

Hi Conlan!
Agree with what earlyriser has said.
I regularly drive up to scotland from newcastle in the car (scottish you see), and the car has always performed brilliant and has been great fun to drive. I always tend to get a bad back in other cars on long journeys but never do in the T350.
Mine is also my daily driver, and has never let me down!
I hummed and hawwed for ages over whether or not to buy a TVR, and eventually thought bollox to it, you only live once.
That was two and a half years ago now and still loving it!!!
Like earlyriser says, go and look at a few, keep asking on here if you need anymore advice and finally..............................shoutBUY ONE!!!!!!!!biggrin

Yep, as they all said, just buy one! Excellent for long journeys, and also not so long, but needs to get to temp. Good to buy on PH as you can read through the seller's history and the various issues they might have had. You also get a feel for how they treat cars generally. I bought mine here, but had it inspected by someone first for extra super safety! I was after a silver one, and got titanio grigio (or something similarly pretentious!) which is a dark metallic silver. What a beauty!

Agreed!! I had two of them (admittedly the first was wrapped round a tree after 3 weeks.. ooops!)
and they were immense fun. Totally reliable and more to the point looked great. I had Grigio Titanium (but
probably spelt better!) with red and black interior. Really REALLY great cars......

I used mine daily for a year and it was great fun.

Go for it !

Only sold it as it was my only car (besides another TVR !) and not practical enough ..

If you wait to Spring you will pay a Premium, prices normally start to hold or rise a little come March for TVR's in my opinion as demand normally goes up a little.

I have had mine a Year now from new, 6000 miles clocked so she has not been sitting around!
Couple of minor problems which were sorted by the dealer so make sure you buy one with a Good Warranty or as i do put the cash away just in case!

Fantastic car 4th TVR that i have owned and drives the best, you won't regret it thumbup

Are you after a T350 or T350T or don't mind?
