Is anyone aware of any interesting events in the first part of next year?
A few years ago I did a Performance Car treasure hunt in France which was absolutely brilliant (and was similar to the Gumball rally ... all for £250). Unfortunately none of the current magazines seem able want to arrange anything but track days. Whilst track days are top fun I do like other things as well e.g. frightening the French, seeing nice countryside, driving about in hot sunshine, drinking wine and champagne etc. I was hoping the owners club would do all kinds of stuff like this but I haven't seen much sign of it so far. Now the weather has gone cold and horrible I want something to plan for (I don't really include meeting in pubs or going to exhibitions of stationary steam engines (which are also good) but really worthwhile things.

Jeff, We are having a Cream of Devon day and other events which I suspect might interest you. Check out http://go.to/tvrbristol

P.S. I'd also love to go to more events next year. It is pretty hard finding out whats' happening and where. If you come up with anything please post here..... Cheers

Thanks for that. Thats much more like it. I didn't actually know Bristol had it's own website. This could be quite handy since I live in Bristol. Maybe see you there

A couple of the TVRCC regions organised a trip to the Champaign region of France last year taking in a nostalgic visit to Riems for a quick blast up the straight and of course a visit to a Champagn House and some wine and food etc.

What about a Lakeland weekend ?

Recent Tuscan and Tuscan R photo released by TVR are nearly all Lakeland locations are all at the ends of fantastic roads. Accom and decent food / beer not a problem.

Could be a really good weekend. It needs organising but shouldn't be too difficult...

What do you reckon ?
