Mid Essex Meet 14/10/07 - Convoys !!

roll up! roll up!(PLEASE READ FOOTNOTE)
It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid Essex TVRCC meet… so Sunday 14th October means, as always, it's convoy time.
Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 12:00, and if you're on the Southend meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 for the TB pre meet convoy.
How do I get to the White Hart..?1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,
The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

SOUTHEND PRE MEETING POINT is the parking bays on the front by Thorpe Bay yacht park, in between where Thorpe Hall Avenue and Maplin Way meet the front. 10.15 to 10.30 leaving 10.45

I may not be able to make it Sunday so am looking for someone to lead both the Southend and White Hart Convoys if this is the case. Any takers ?

My Cerb was on holiday in Coventry in August, I too feared being sent to Coventry by the other half, so I bought her a diamond ring. It seemed to work!!I'm not 100% sure I'll be there o can't say I'll lead the thorpe bay convoy, but I think the idea of sending a car out from the White Hart to go to the top roundabout, come down past the WH again to the bottom roundabout and back up again to stop the traffic while all TVRs get out together is a good idea 
Right, not going to make it unfortuneatly. I will be at Southend, Steve thanks for taking that, but am not going to make it to Forresters. Shame, looking like a nice day from where I'm sitting.
