Shame it's not going to stay in the series.

I've bought Car 55, and going to rebuild it with a Rv8 and run it in the series next year.

Also there is still car 19 for sale.

Well, we have all got to start somewhere. To date I have no experience in motor sport whatsoever (other than watching). If things go well with the hillclimbs and sprints next year, where I can actually learn how to drive the car competitively, then who knows? I may decide to make the car more competitive and enter it into the challenge series in 2009. That's the plan anyway.

Nice one Dave - a truly splendid purchase!

I'm afraid it's not very high quality video, but turn those speakers up and click on the link:

Our first test in the old girl at Silverstone April 2006.

Just get that Toovey V6 bow

Well I've only done about 5 track days. so its going to be a big learning curve. but if I don't do it now I never will. plus best way to learn just jump in the deep end.

I am sure the South-yorks crew will be there to support you Dave, I know I will, mind you, I will be after that photo, the one that no driver wants, the embarrassing one, but I am sure you will make it hard for me.
GOOD LUCK Dave.

OH, and if you buy some of those shorts Darren has, YOU WILL BANNED from all South-yorks meets, and that's for every body's own good.
