Another one, I've lost my sympathetic TVR MOT station

Can someone suggest one for me down here in or near Essex?

I have always used Colberts on the benfleet manor trading estate tel [phone].

NOTE just because i have been happy doesnt mean you will. You know what it is with recommendations, they have a habit of biting you on the bum

I Have always used Martin Woodhouse of Woodhouse engineering Brook Rd Ind Est Rayleigh for my MOT's. Although this is my first year of TVR ownership i havn't found out how "sympathetic" he is towards the TVR marque. He comes very highly recommended, he will even video any work done to your vehicle, Martin has also been on Watchdog and Whistleblower (Mechanic undercover lifting the lid on YES CAR CREDIT and their shoddy work). I wouldn't take my car anywhere else, very genuine garage and staff, many establishments could take a leaf out of their book.
P.S I do not work for or have any vested interest in this company, just a very satisfied company.

I made the mistake when i first bought my Chimaera of taking car to a TR dealer for the MoT. They actually just took it down the road to the local MoT tester, failed it for poorly adjusted headlights and then charged me £45!

These cars do not need a TVR specialist to do the test. Now i just take mine to my local tester, who really appreciates the car and is takes me through whole test with him. Gives me a good chance to look under the car properly.

Common opinion seems to be find a tester you can trust!
