As far as I understand the unit used to be a straight swap but Meta don't make them anymore so you have to wire it in - a scary thought for me.

I had to replace the siren when i had a Griff (98) with a Meta system. I bought the part, just plugged it in myself and it worked fine. Afraid i can't remember where i bought it and all the documentation was passed on to the new owner.

Carl is THE person to speak to about TVR alarms and stereos though.

yes u can i fit meta alarms and never had a probblem
