TVR 4 litre and 5 litre cams

Hi all .. does anyone know the differences between the TVR51 cam and the TVR435RM cam? maybe one for Rob (v8racing) ..

the 435 i've just taken out of my 5 litre engine and was going to stick it in my 4 litre engine, but then someone said that he thought the 4 litre had a tvr51 cam which was actually a wilder grind than the 435RM ...? so he thinks anyway

the 435 has a 116deg LCA which suggests it's not actually a very wild cam at all ..

any help appreciated

Can't remember what the lift is with the 435 but it was the standard high lift cam for the 5ltr and 4ltrHC. One came out from my 4ltr and it had the pocketed pistons, I'm not sure if they are strictly necessary for the 435 but I'd check first . Its not so good a cam btw, a boggo 218 dialled in at 112 will out perform it every time, not sure about the 51.
