had to laugh pulled up at my local shops, got out of car and was approached by a little old man,

he asks,

"what is mate a toyota supercharge?"

yikes " nono its a tvr! " i reply,

"ohhhhhh thought it sounded special" he replyed,

off i go to do my bits and pieces, come back to car ten min or so later to find a crowd of people looking at it!

"you bas...d youve taken over the place,go on start it! ive got to ears this." one says,

so i start it up givin it a bit of right foot,

"bloody hell that sounds as nice as it looks" he said to me,

smile

off i went driving the best car i have had to date smilesmile

isnt it great when people admire your car and pay you compliments on how they look and sound,

instead of havin the green eyed monster and damaging them!

It is nice when somebody taps you on the shoulder to ask about your P&J.

A very well spoken gent asked me all sorts of questions about the Tam while I filled it up with optimax yesterday. He was in a Supercharged Jag XJR (I think) and said that he had his eye on "one of these beauties" for a while. He went on to say that he was hiring one from Bespokes for a trial before buying one that he'd seen on Autotrader. I have no idea if it's true but he claimed that there was an unregistered Tam - brand new, or at least undriven - going for £34k.

Should I have told him about the difference between an XJR and the Tam??? I just told him to go steady for the first 100 miles and then to give it some smilewink

Made me feel better anyway, even if he doesn't buy one. smile

I think the new Tamora is/was at Racing Green, it is still on the Autotrader site.
