Does anyone have any suggestions for some sort of driving experience/ course that would be a good 40th birthday present?
Cheers!

I did a Red Letter Day driving experience at Thruxton last week. Porky Cayman, Aston V8 Vantage & Fezza F430... twas a good day, they didnt let you floor the cars, but I guess thats sensible, but sensed that if they thought you were compentant enough, encouraged me to overtake anything else!

What I didnt know, and wished I had, is that later in the day its possible to book some laps in your own car with an Instructor, but has to be booked in advance...

Oh and finished with a fast lap in a race preped RX8 as a passenger, hairy, on very worn tyres at the end of the day....

Just booked a Lotus Elise Driving Experience with PlansMotorsport at Dunsfold (Top Gear test track) for my boy's 18th birthday present. Never been before but they were very helpful on the phone in helping to tailor the day to his level of driving experience and included some laps in the 'reasonably priced' car.
