Reg No. TVR 100 - What happened to it?
Discussion
It was used prior to PRW ownership, having appeared on the black roadtest 3000S Turbo and early Tasmins.
TVR22 was also used during the 70's and 80's by the factory, then became acquired by Stewart Halstead/Carole Newton, and subsequently got sold on. It now is on a yellow Griff 500 that we use to own.
In the TVR 450SE/TVR S2 promtional video, yes they did shoot one and it's very cheesy, the 450SE wore TVR100 and the S2 wore TVR101 (which nobody can substantiate as being a real released number, so it was probably made up for the video)
TVR100 has also existed on multiple cars at once, as people have been known to visit the factory and seen it on more than one vehicle during their visit!!
It's use fell into decline when TVR purchased S6TVR

I tip my hat to your stato-like knowledge of TVR number plates! TVR22 was also used during the 70's and 80's by the factory, then became acquired by Stewart Halstead/Carole Newton, and subsequently got sold on. It now is on a yellow Griff 500 that we use to own.

Yes - it was owned by John Kent, he then sold it to PRW (obviously when Peter bought TVR) but JK had TVR connections prior TVR22 was also used during the 70's and 80's by the factory, then became acquired by Stewart Halstead/Carole Newton, and subsequently got sold on. I wonder who now owns "7VR", I heard the factory owned that one too - now thats a REALYL good plate....
Dead cool if VR are your initials, a pointless pain if you're going to push them together to make the plate illegal - lots of money to spend to risk loosing the plate to the DVLA...Well, according the the RAC website:
100TVR is currently on a 1999 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL R
TVR100 is currently on a 2006 GRAND CHEROKEE SRT-8 A
7VR is currently on a 2005 MERCEDES SL 350 AUTO
Shame none of these plates are no longer on "proper" cars (TVR's)
Edited to say simply add your reg number here to find out what car its on:
