Just a general question.

Got to sell the Tiv..due to reasons beyond my control..(women wants a new car)I've put it up on Pistonheads, but can anyone tell me any other places they have found to advertise tivs, and recieved good responses.

Can't you just sell the woman instead?
It would be alot less painful, I can assure you!

You can pick a nice Nova 1.0L up for very little money these days ... are you really sure you want to sell the TVR? Are you sure this lady understands you??

Seriously though, it's not a good time of year (or economy) to sell a TVR.

Which means, I'm sorry guys but it's gonna benefit those of us still to purchase. Agree with plotloss though.

findit.co.uk have a tvr page – can't verify what success you'll have though – but I did buy my Mussie from there.

And they're free (not the Mussie before someone pipes up!)

TVR owner one day soon

Yeah, not a good time for selling, I got less than I would have liked for my S3, but the V8S I bought was also cheaper...

Excessive noise mostly comes from the front end in my experience - however I am aware that rear end problems tend to incress after purchase

Mine seems to suffer minor monthly breakdowns, only relieved by a substance called chocolate which they don't seem to sell in Halfords ?

Gentlemen, all is well... me and the women have come to compramise... I can keep the tiv as long as she is insured to drive it...What do we think...
What is worse..no TVR, or having to give her the keys for when she wants to go shopping?

Thought my Griff had developed a fault a while back.

During 'vigorous' driving, I was aware an irritating noise comming from the passenger side. It was only when sliding my pick-up round a mini island, I noticed the phenomenon again and was able to atirbute it to my missus.

Aghhhhhhh !!!!!!! Don't do it no offence to women drivers at all but : Point 1. when I did this all I did was wonder where my baby was all the time and if she had been parked right !!!!

Point 2. When I got in the car after the better half had driven it, all I heard was imaginary noises i.e. funny engine noises !!!

Point 3. Better half had no idea about the 2500 rev rule and even when I told her she didn't take any notice

Result: Changed her in for a new model who is much better than the previous with low milage and is a gold colour and wont drive my chimaera !!!!!!!!!!!

and no I can't spell and I am not a mcm
and yes I have great repect for any lady who drives a TVR especially the one in the blue chimaera 450 some where near camberley reg W7 SCD I think very very sexy and what a nice wave !!!
