New TVR Scale Modell !!!
Discussion
Christof,
fantastic car, very agressive look.
Can you give some technical details about the wheels. Are these BBS wheels ?
What size are the wheels ?
Do you also know what the offset, diameter of the centre
hub and the distance between the bolts is (e.g. 5/108)?
I think that these wheels will also fit
on my Tuscan...

Christof, the car is FANTASTIC!
I'd be interested to know how much grief you get from your fellow countrymen for not owning a Porsche, Merc etc instead of a mad bad piece of blackpool muscle?
Also, as you simply MUST have humiliated some home grown stuff on the autobahn with it I'd be interested to know if the rear diffuser keeps the beast stable at high speeds? Last time I tried a Cerb I chickened out at 150mph cos it was all over the place, and I reckon you'd need to do more than 150 to impress the Porkers etc over there.

Thanks, Marcus.
If you drive on the Autobahn with this BEASTIE, you can see a lot of very suprised faces from the drivers of the so called prestige and sports cars.
Most of the drivers are so scared when I pass them with full throttle, that they forgot to control their faces, some others give me a thumb up and if you come to a petrol station you become a famous person. All the questions about the car, the engine, the performance-I love that.
Christof*a very proud TVR fanatic!!!*

Koen,
wheels are not from BBS.
Manufacturer is an italian company.
Yes, they will fit on a Tuscan, maybe you have to put some work on the inner arches.
Normally the wheels are silver, but I decided to but some black on them and seems to work very well.
Price for a set excl. paint shop was 1800 DM, paint was 800 DM

Nearly all people who are seeing and hearing the car like it. I mean they a very enthusiastic about such a mad piece of motoring art. I hear also very often that my baby is better looking than a Ferrari (Porsche,BMW are not in the same league).
A typical comment from a guy and his girlfriend today in the city:
He: WOW, look at that car!
She: What is ist? Looks nice in black.
He: Don't know, but it looks miles better than a Ferrari
She: But a Ferrari is a car, but this is a racecar, which is very unpractical...
He: gave me a wave and thumbs up!!
All that happened while waiting on a traffic light.
Drive a TVR here in Germany and the people will love you!!!
Nobody is jealous and you will get credits from all parts of the society.
Sorry for beeing so enthusiastic, but it is my experience since I've owned my first TVR 7 years ago.
I couldn't understand why TVR isn't very interested in the german market and give the 2 dealerships here more support.
Well I've raced several Porsches, BMWs, Audis, Ferraris and a McLaren and I've lost twice: one car was a F40 and the other was, surprise, surprise a McLaren, but hey, its british and its ok.
The diffuser produces no significant more downforce, but the 3 chambers of it giving a miles better stability at high speeds. Seems that the airflow under the car is more stable. You will recognize this, when you are driving in rain and you have a look at the spray behind the car. Looks very different.
You can drive 180, 190 without problems,
but I have to admit and I don't know how fast it goes. Will find it out next year after modifying the front end with a spoiler and some splitters like the racecars.
Cheers from Germany,
Christof
why don't you suggest Ted does a feature on your car.
BTW I was at the factory last week and your name came up in conversation with Danielle. She said you buy a new TVR every spring. Does that mean you'll be starting over again in March? Also I couln't help but tell her that I thought your RR looked like the car TVR should have developed in the first place!
