As some of you may have noticed, ditdine (Christine) posted a request last week for someone with a Rosso Pearl Chimaera who would be available on Thursday 5th July to take her husband to be to their wedding ceremony in Oxted.

I offered my services thumbup

It was then suggested by ssavill that it would be a good idea to do a Convoy to the wedding and DonnyMac said he would be interested in joining in....it does seem to be the popular thing at the moment.

What i'm after is a list of people and their TVR's who would be intersted/available for the afternoon bearing in mind it is a weekday not weekend THURSDAY 5TH JULY

The wedding takes place in Hurst green nr Oxted (A25) at 3pm and the plan is for me to pick him up at either Thornton Heath or Caterham depending on where he stays the night before so i will be driving from whichever location to Hurst Green and think it would be nice to do it in convoy as Christine said she thought it would be good idea aswell.

If ssavill and DonnyMac are still o.k with it please post and also anyone else.

Ask any questions and i'll try to reply to the best i can or Christine will (i'm sure)

Glyn.

Yeah ok what the hell, I live in Caterham and will be home for Summer so the chances are that I shall be doing sweet F.A on every Tuesday in July anyway... This is all provided they don't mind a bit of a racket though - just finished putting on the full ACT de-cat system with cherry bombs so its quite noisy!

Not sure why I wrote Tuesday...?! Must have been starting to go a little crazy with the late night revision.

We'll see what we can do at the monthly meet on Thursday. Don't forget not everyone is on PH.

Hi Peter.

As you can understand i'm only doing the organising the best i can but the final decisions will be down to Christine as it's hers (and Steves) big day, and like i said on Thursday i'm still not sure what Christine has sorted for her lift or if she will be in full wedding dress.

Hi all

Sorry guys, didn't check in the last couple of days. Sooo much work to do before we head off... frown

That's such a great line-up!!! I'm going to be getting to the venue much earlier, so if Glyn could pick Steve up from Thornton Heath at about 1.30pm and the rest of you could meet somewhere close-ish for Glyn to swing by and get you to tag on, that would be fab! I'll see you all at Coltford Mill.

The ceremony is at 3pm so I think Steve should be there for 2.30... do you think 1.30pm is an early enough pickup?

Glyn, do you think you'll go via Purley Way or another route? Where's easy to meet on the way? (It's a while since I've been hanging out in Croydon...)

Thanks again everyone - I can't wait!!! beer

Hi Christine.

we're starting to get a few on the list now as you can see.
If Thornton heath is the decided pick up point for Steve the i will NOT be going down the Purley Way, but will post up the meet point for the convoy nearer the time.
I was thinking about 1.30 should be o.k to get there for 2.30 although i may make the pick up a little bit earlier depending on the final route i take as i thought it may be a good idea that when we get to the convoy meeting place it might be nice to stop there for a chat as atleast then the others in the convoy get to meet Steve aswell instead of just getting him to the ceremony then him dissapearing.
one thing was brought to my attention the other night was what about the best man? will he be with Steve and require a lift in a Tiv?

Glyn.
P.s am also starting to look forward to this aswell although possibly for a different reason to you wink
