Hi Folks

Does anyone have a web address or phone number for Mannings Insurance. I already have a very competetive quote from A-Plan but a few people have recently commented on Mannings.

Regards
Simon

As above, recently had my renewal from Manning for the Tuscan. Ended up going with Hegarty as they came up with a more competitive figure.
Both route the cover through Allianz, so no difference in cover, and the people there are extremely helpful.

Have my Mannings renewal sitting in front of me right now...£510 fully comp unlimited miles. Didnt think that was too bad, especially with track day cover? Do Hegarty cover for track day as they place with Allianz as well?

Cheapest I found (for 2yr old t350, driver aged 44, 1 accident 3 yrs ago) was Sunninghill at 670, that was with breakdown cover but no trackday and UK only.
A-Plan were closest but nobody else really worth considering. As for the TVR approved scheme...forget it.

Haggerty were cheap but they won't cover to and from work - they commented that lots of people from PH recommend them but fail to pass on the fact that its cover for pleasure only.

Strange this but try Brentacre ( www.brentacre.co.uk/ ). There a VW specialist who I used to insure all my Golfs/Rallyes with. But none of the TVR specialists came close to them for me, been with them a long time so maybe they did me a deal, but worth a try. If possible ask for John and say Cai recommended that you phone him for a quote on a TVR.

I tried Manning and A Plan, Brentacre saved me about £300.

Just switched from Admiral to A-Plan, coming in at around £670, for my 02 Tuscan S. Cheapest I've had in 12 years of TVR ownership. I'm 36yo but I get stitched because I'm in London NW1.

Hi All

Thanks for the phone numbers, recommendations, etc.

Went for A-Plan in the end at a cost of £499.93. (7p less than last year)

This was for my Partner & I both age 42 both with no accidents, claims or convictions to drive a 2003 4.5 Cerbera with a £350 excess and limited to 5000 miles a year.

Cheap as Chips really....

Regards
Simon.

i've just renewed with A-Plan for £859 for 28year old with car on driveway in london/essex. Strangely enough mannings, haggerties and the others recommended on here all came in at £1300 and above. I'm quite happy as this is cheaper than my old 4ltr chim which is strange!
