CURE FOR MISTY DIALS AND MILKY SCREEN
Discussion
Good Morning all.
I am restoring my first ever TVR, a 1990 S3 which i purchased in September.
A total job is required and in doing so have come up with some really good remidies for all those little problems that you all find, one being water impregnation through the screen.
If you remove the screen and put a clear silicone bead alonge the leading adge of the dash, replace the screen and insert a T shaped rubber into the screen adhesive, you will have cured the problem. I did mine last week, and as a test left the car outside on the drive in the rain. NO MORE MISTY DIALS AND TOTALLY DRY INSIDE.
If you need any more ideas on improvements to your baby, give me a call on 07813 916054, or post a reply here, i will be only to pleased to help.
