Hi guys - I've been doing car detailing for a number of years and looking to set up my own business, concentrating on specialist detailing.

What I'm looking for are some classic cars (ie TVR - especially dark colours) for examples of my work. Also I would need owners I could use for reference, assuming you're happy with my work!

If you're in the Gloucester / Bath area (or around), then send me a PM if you're interested and I can give you more info about what I can do (as long as you're happy with me using photo's of your P&J for my portfolio).

As an ex-Chim owner, I have a passion for TVR - that and they're smaller cars to work on biglaugh

Anyhow - if you want a really shiny car (wash, claybar, machine polish, seal, wax etc..) then get in touch and I'll let you know more about what I'm looking for.

Cheers

I'd have been game but living in Essex rather precludes me from this.

I'm just outside Bath.
Could be very interested, depends on whether you can perform miracles or not (my paintwork has a lot of scratches and stone chips).

I'm another Bournemouth person who would be interested, but like Bluebottle I have a very stonechipped front. Rest of the car is fine though.

Hi guys - thanks for your responses.
I've had stacks of interest and can't afford to do any more "freebies"
If you are still interested, then get in touch and I'll let you know what I can do - I'm going to do a few at reduced rates just to get things up and running.

NB I'm basically offering 2 services: a detail and a concours (the concours is very thorough and would include taking the wheels off, Rain-X, Glaze, Sealants, protecting the undersills and arches etc...) Obviously paintwork and the depth of shine is one of the main things I concentrate on.

I can't fill in stonechips, but if you had touchup paint, then you could blob it in the stone chips and I can polish it down for you! You'd need a couple of days for it to harden so I couldn't do that on the day.

Bournemouth is a bit too far and I'd have to take travelling into account, but if there's 2 people close then we might be able to sort something out and I have a colleague I can bring along which would allow us to do 2 in a day (with 2 people).

Anyhow thanks for the offers guys - I'll get some pics up when I figure out how to do clever stuff like that

Right o' I'll try my first picture posting

This is a car I did on the weekend - not perfect (could have done with another few hours to completely correct) but gives you an idea of 4 (plus) hours work - also afraid the resolution makes it a bit gritty, I'm just being picky now, but then that's what I get paid for!!

If you wanted to do two people in Bournemouth on the same day, how much would you charge?

Assuming we both wanted a finish similar to that in the pictures.....

Also, do you do anything on the interior side of things?
