Mid Essex Convoy Thread

It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid-Essex TVRCC meet… so this coming Sunday 8th April means it's convoy time

The vast majority of you will now the drill by now so we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00, with the aim of leaving at 12:00 to make some noise through the roads of Essex to go and get some pie at Great Totham.


How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester

2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane.

3) Take the 2nd exit (the first takes you to the Royal Mail sorting office!)

4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph

5) The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.

6) If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

Yup, it's that time again.....

Pete is off 'Wedding Planning' this month so if there is a volunteer to run the convoy from the White Hart it would save Ray and lil ol me having to take the run to Chelmsford!

As stated, Myself and your other trusted leader (Tegriffic) won't be around this Sunday, so for any of you aspiring convoy leaders please step forward. Otherwise, it will be easy to sort in situ between yourselves at the white hart on the day.

Good point, I understand they have an endless supply of spring water up the front somewhere but that we have to provide our own JD - or do you think we should wait until the reception. By the way, the heckles you have planned for the speech, I agree but think that line about neons and rent boys might not go down so well with his family.

Of course it's not mate. We do get the odd visit from other counties. AFAIK Amazon is going to be bringing her crew over at some point in the near future.

Pop along to the White Hart and join the Convoy, its an experience not to be missed (especially with me leading it this month )

Just make yourself known to me (check my profile out so you know who I am) and I will try and make sure your in the middle of a bunch of old hands so you don't get lost.

Again good to have you along, weathers looking good so the meet should be big. Again if your going to the White Hart first, say hello, and I will make sure your not left tagging on the back of the convoy.
