In the arty TVR thread, there is a pic of a Union Jack TVR badge. How the hell did someone manage to do this? Was it a case of taking the badge off, removing the back, and going from there?

Im having some badge surrounds made up at the moment for the T350/Tamora/Sagaris ppl, it wouldnt be too hard to get some Union Jack TVR badges made up at the same time if there is demand.

There was a thread on here a while ago with someone having a batch made....

I can't seem to find it though.

There are some good ones on ebay every now and again, I got some mini ones that
I stuck under my indicators.

Look really cool ebay item number was 330082009790

just to be correct, it is a union FLAG not a union jack, as a union jack can only be flown on a ship. you learn something new every day.

I did not know that. Cheers - I like being a pedant, and that is a nice little nugget of information.

if I remember correctly, the 'jack' part comes from 'jackstaff' a small mast at the front of the ship the flag is flown from, and 'jackstaff' gets its 'jack' from King George the whatever's nickname after whom it was named.

For the badges (I too have one and no you can't have that one either) I think T5SOR had a lot to do with getting them made - try PMing him?

Ahhh found the thread I was looking for
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=1&f=&t=326457&h=0

As correctly said it was T5S0R who was responsible.

His email address can be found in the thread if anyone wants to contact him
