I don't want to re-open the 'Independent' thread again, but its renewal time for my Chim.
I not too happy about paying the whole premium up front as I did with Independent last time and I was wondering if there are equivalent polices (2nd car limited miles, NCB on main car) that allow you to pay by installments?
Any ideas?
Nick.

Recommend Sunninghill, been with them years, S2, Griff and Lotus Esprit (OK you live and learn) and now my Cerb, all through them no hassle and nothing is too much trouble, Andy/Malcolm good blokes to deal with.
Various options for payment but as TVR speacialist you get amazing discounts Esprit verus Cerb over 250 GBP less includes track days, breakdown (Handy !!!) etc

I use Sunninghill Insurance in Bagshot. They allow me to use my Golf's NCB for my Chimaera, and with one start-up initial payment, they set up a DD for the balance over the year. Two excess options, and it includes track days, UK and European RAC assistance, green card, etc. Very helpful people

Quadcat1 .....How ????
seems unreal
I duuno, been with them 3yrs, had a motorsport conv BMW before and was paying £900. have got 9mths insurance left and they asked for about £220 extra. I asked if that was prorata and they said no it would have been the same as all year as most was admin. So it may even be less, me aint ganna argue though
I thought "Quadcat1 .....How ???? " aswell.
Only I was thinking "How can he afford a Tuscan at the age of 24 !"
It took me 30+ years to be able to aford my TVR.
Quadcat1, what do you do for a living or to aford these cars ?
Or is it just a case of not having a wife to spend all your money.

Just bought my first TVR and got insurance of a Chimp 4.0 for two drivers (me and wifey) on business class one - to and from work, as well as other places of work. All for £700 via Elephant.co.uk.
Possibly could have got it cheaper but have other Elephant insurance policies and everything comes out cheap.... Do note that the TVR online list is not complete so you do have to phone them at 60p per minute (best to get them to call you back!).
P.S. Tescos insurance is actually DirectLine (as it Privilege) and Elephant.co.uk is Admiral. Just in case anyone is interested. Oh, and DirectLine dont want to do Business Class insurance.
