Who underwrites the policy - is it Cornhill?

which is strange cos my T350 renewal came through at 750 FC protected, but id already had a quote on line cos im changing to a Sag and cost was £600 FC protected so i phoned them up.

Apparently the price on the web has to be 10% lower cos thats what they advertise, so in effect your renewal price should be more expensive than if you cancelled it and then renewed on line

Any of you tried Hagerty?
They gave me a great quote on my Chimaera. Backed by Allianz.
Worth a call 08700420220 Ask for Darren bow as he really knows his TVR's having previously owned a Griff and a Chimaera
think their website is www.hagertyinsurance.co.uk

scratchchinHmm... this is interesting:
I insured with company A in January for £460, 3,000 miles SD&P no commuting.
I now have quote from company B £340, 5,000 miles, no other restrictions.
I have driven nearly 2,000 miles. yikes
If I go to company A to relinquish their cover, can I {i} just cancel it? {ii} if so should I expect 9/12ths of my premium because it's only been 3 months, 2/3rds because I've covered 2,000 miles or something else?

I tried to cancel a policy on a previous car insured with classic cover and limited miles and they refused to give any refund at all, fairly standard on these policies from memory as well.
