Just wanted to make a positive post and say my car is running perfectly. Dry roads, nice and sunny - perfect day for a blast around Bucks/Oxforshire. Plenty of gawpers en-route too The car now has the first decent bug splattering of the season driving

(Pity about the neighbours 996 Turbo Cab - put the roof down, left the ignition on for a while by mistake and now it won't start - click click).

Wasn't it just!

Which is why I spent the day up a ladder pressure washing algae off the front of my house.

Did a quick 50 mile blast across the Yorkshire Dales this afternoon before watching England play France in the 6 nations. Bright sunshine, CCC cans popping and snarling, no Trafpol, no speed cameras, no traffic, 2 trys, frogs beaten, roast beef for dinner tonight. Perfect day.

Yup-got to agree it was a fabulous day to get lost in the country! Played around the lanes for ages-only went out on the old "got to warm it over once a day " gag

Sun out, dry roads, would have been rude staying in. Had the best (and longest) run of the year so far, only draw back had to take the good lady to the garden centre on the way back, oh well can't have it all!

Could not agree more - out at 8am on Saturday blatting around the roads of West Sussex and Surrey, via Goodwood. Absolutely great to finally be able to get the car properly out and about.
