i cleaned polished and waxed the tiv yesterday and noticed that most of the paintwork was 'bobbly'!
needless to say im pretty pi55ed about it, the bonnet and wings seem silky smooth after the 4 hours of effort, but the rest of it is'nt, i think this is down to the recent respray to the front end, im wondering if this 'bobbly' stuff is overspray??
any ideas,
the car is 2 years old with just 4500 on the clock, it cant be road grime...... can it?
what do i need to do to get rid?

It probably is a reaction to the spray job, not uncommon on fibreglass cars - it could be moist trapped under the paint. Have you been keeping the car under an outdoor cover? This seems to cause this problem, or at least exacerbate it.

If the surface is slightly matt looking and rough when you run your finder tips over it, it could be overspray. If it is then polishing with compounds is fairly ineffective as the paint around the cured overspray wears away at about the same rate as the "blob" you want to remove. Try using automotive paint clay; these are designed to remove protrusions, such as overspray, brake fines etc whilst leaving the original finish untouched.
