What sounds best V8, AJP or S6

I think they all have their qualities and I love 'em all!

I think the Griff on the video has been decatted/with sports exhaust whereas personally, I prefer the sound of the Rover V8 in standard guise a'la Wedge...I think they sound soo much better!

Nothing sounds quite as awesome as the AJP, especially when it fires up.....brilliant

The SP6 sounds nice, ok on tick over, real nice when pootling about and fookin excellent when being treated to the berries!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the speed six sounds ok when warm, most of the noise you hear are from the exhausts.

Any v8 for me, the Rover or Chevie sounds great from the outside. But the AJP8 from inside the cabin is just awesome.

That Griff sounds like a Peterbilt Conventional truck from the Mid-West! In fact it sounds just like the tanker in that film 'Duel' that chases Denis Weaver for miles through the desert.

AJPV8 by far the best,Came to this conclusion when i heard Deanratpacks cerb at Whitehall during the Thunderun.

Only been in an v8 Cerbera, but followed (and walked around when idling) T350s and Chimaeras, and have to say I can't say which is best. Rover V8 is just that great old v8 noise, AJP8 is just mad racy sound. Not seen a video of an S6 car from the inside like that one posted though, and have to say it does sound very very nice

Having driven an AJP8 (My Cerb) and a 4.0 SP6 (Tuscan S) and been round the back of an RV8 during a DB test I found the following:

AJP8 - Mental, sounds like a touring car with a rocket up it's arse. Loud and beautiful on both full chat and lift off
SP6 - Disappointing quiet for a 4 litre, slightly spitty but overall I felt it needed something more
RV8 - A classic V8 noise but again it was just too quiet. A V8 should roar and be in your face IMO and the RV8 Griffs / Chims @ the Db test just weren't. They sounded great but just muted.

Therefore, in my conclusion the AJP wins it, it's just mental and wants you to damned well know it.
