Look 700bhp and only just beat the cerbera, if anything it looks like the cerbera was catching him at the end.

Old news! That was posted a hwile ago. The NSX is HEAVILY tuned and it only just beats a standard TVR. I know what I'd rather be driving

Stock NSXs are nearly 2 seconds slower than those tvrs. Of course they aren't going to let two Brit cars beat a Japanese car on Jap tv. I'm just pleased that they decided to use TVRs and not Ferraris or Porsches (which are nearly all slower than those TVRs but because people are more clued up about them they would have smelt a rat)

Not sure about rats but I can certainly smell something!
I get the faint whiff of testosterone mixed in with unproven stats, commonly referred to as bullshit, mayde that's the smell gaz?

Top speed 290 km/h (180 mph)
Power-to-weight 381.82 bhp/ton
TVR Tuscan S
3996 cc S6
Max. output 395.4 PS (390.0 bhp) (290.8 kW) @7000 rpm
Max. torque 420.0 Nm (310 lbft) (42.8 kgm) @5250 rpm
0-60mph 3.90s
Top speed 314 km/h (195 mph)
Power-to-weight 354.55 bhp/ton
Even though we know TVR to exagerate the BHP and torque stats, they've been seen to sprint in the sort of times listed here with the right takeoff / driver.
For that NSX to have been standard the driver would need to be a LOT more talented than the TVR drivers. This vid was brought up a while back and someone happened to identify the NSX as a well and truely tuned example by $SOMEDESIGNHOUSE.

No they didn't. The THOUGHT it was a GReddy NSX show car, which was a 3.0 5 speed with flip up lights and a turbocharger. THIS car is a 2002 NSX-R 3.2 6 speed with projector head lights.
Oh look- bang on 276bhp, funny that

In reality the Cerb (assuming it's a standard 4.5) might well be putting out around 280bhp, but would still have a much better power/weight ratio. I'm confused - are you saying that the NSX-R was standard, putting out 276bhp and still beat the Cerb ?
