Watched Goldeneye the other night, made in 1995. Why was bond in a crappy Z3 1.9 hair dryer, when he could have driven a proper motor vehicle! If a proper motor vehicle was sufficient for John Travolta, why not our homegrown hero?

BMW chucked a load of money at the producers basically - what a load of arse is what i say! next bond was driving a Z8

dont find either the Z3 or the Z8 particularly offensive but hardly british i agree

next film he will be back in an aston - whilst my passion lies with tvr's i am pleased to see theh Aston tradition get back on track.

I was at a party the same year, and some girl said "yeah, and he came round in one of those James Bond cars", I instantly said "Astin Martin?" (D'oh!)

Boy it P1ssed me off thinking 1.8 Z3 drivers were mincing about thinking they were Bond, James Bond.
