I will soon be needing front tyres for my griff; having put falken fk452 on the back recently was very impressed and want to stay with a soft compound as i am convinced it is better suited to the car. problem is my griff has 15" front wheels so choice is limited. I am put off the Toyos with tales of taking ages to run in and so am considering Khumos Ecsta Sport KU31, Falken ZE512 or Hankook ventus K102.

Has anyone else had experience with these tyres??

Cheers

I would put on Toyo we drive many TVRs every day and the Toyo seems to be the best.

I have Toyo TR1s and 888's and neither took a long while to run in..

I just do the usual - take it easy for the first 100 miles and then let rip.

Another Toyo fan. I read all the stuff about them being slippy when new and taking time to bed in, but I didn't have any problems at all. So impressed I put them on the day car too (saab 9-5 aero) and had no problems there either. Happily replace them with more.
