Can I ask a really silly question then, as a virgin TVR owner....

Are there particular things about a TVR that an ordinary High St MOT centre will fail it on?? readit

A couple of regulars
1) Handbrake - as with most British Sports Cars it is rubbish at the best of times.
2) Rear Number Plate - if the plate is backlit but you haven't got the honeycomb type that lets the light through e.g. if the original plate has been replaced

This topic seems to have turned into a "reverse" name and shame. I don't know who reads these forums but should certain people read them they could form the wrong impression regarding Ian's business practices. The ministry do anonymous spot checks on MOT testing stations and the implications from these discussions could lead to Ian getting a visit and I am sure he would not thank us given the seriousness of the consequences. Please try to use a little more common sense sTeVeR ps it would not be a bad idea if the moderators were to lose this thread
