Well after three years of have a 4ltr Chim, last weekend I fell in love with and 5 ltr one and purchased it. Paris blue with wedge wood full hide trim. The test drive went well and the drive home was great was surprised how much faster it was than my 4 ltr was surprised that the owner forgot to list it had a new clutch, new tyres and adjustable suspension. Not had much time to take it out so this weekend weather permitting I am going to give it a good drive round.

does look good having two chims on the drive even if its not for long :-)

All I have to do now is try and sell my old one. Thinking the classifieds on here or PH, if you look in my profile you will see it. Email me if you’re after a cheap chim :-) worth a try

Hi Chris - congrats on finding a 5L! I'm looking for a Chimaera at the moment and I see your 4L is a 95' Starmist Blue/Biscuit Hide...how many miles on the clock and does it have a FTVRSH? Is the photo on your profile from last years Megahoon to Monaco? A PH mate of mine went on that one!

Chris,

Just come from reading your e-mail to reading this. So its a 5 litre is it! 450 not quick enough? I don't think we'll be hearing the last of this.Sounds like a peach of a motor - great colour and full hide, very nice. No chance of having an inferiority complex on the next "hoon" round Wales, then!! Didn't say how old it is? Anyway, i'll give it a good looking over on Sunday. Being as you've never seen mine yet, no doubt you'll do the same.

see ya,mate

Not thought about joining us on one of the PistonHeads/Detaglio EuroHoons. MegaHoon was Monaco last September and Spain this year bounce though there are several other shorter trips.

We have one of the quarterly "EuroHoon" p!55ups next Saturday (27th) right on your doorstep near Rugby if you're interested. See the EuroHoon forum

somewhere here is a list of who's going!

Hey Chris,

I thought you convinced the girls that a 4.0 ltr was just as good as a 5.0!

You weren’t leading them one, were you

Obliviously size does matter, Yer baby

Congrats mate. Sounds like a fantastic Tiv

Hey Chris
saw that same car on ebay - did you pickit up for a steal as there were no bids at 8000 with no reserve on it?! Something about the owner going abroad, and who ever sold it didn't describe it that well. if I hadn't have just bought a 400 may have been tempted myself.
good luck with it

Yes size must matter, lets wait to the next hoon and see what the girls say

tvrchutney

Yes it was ownered by a 60 italian guy who used to use it when he visited his brother, only done 4000 miles in last 3 years. He asked his brother to sell it but he knew nothing about TVR and really badly advertised it. Didnt list the new clutch, adjustable suspension and only service 500 miles ago, has new tyres. I got it for under £8K. well spotted :-)

With two Chims in the stable, you could hire the other to you know who. Come on my son - this time next year we'll be millionaires!
