Anyone know what it is, where it is and who owns it ?
Just curious....
I recall seeing 'No.2' somewhere but not sure if that is the original car.

Yup, it is TVR No.2 a completely rebulit special, in powder blue. It is in Sprint regularly and I have seen pictures of it there in the last month or so. Can't remember the owner's name however.

Yes, TVR 2 is the oldest. It sometimes does the rounds of some of the "official" dealer network. Think I saw it a couple years back at TMS in Melton Mowbray. Don't know who owns itthough.

I recently went to look at TVR No 2 in its current home at the Motor Museum in Batley, West Yorkshire. It was looking very well and had the copy of Sprint with the feature about 'The Oldest TVRs' proudly displayed in the passenger seat for visitors to read. A few pictures of TVR No 2 are shown below:

There are a few interesting cars in the museum and entry is by donation. A worthwhile day out, particularly if you like Pre-War classics and 1960s sports cars, not to mention quite a few motorbikes too. Highly recommended thumbup

As you Say No 2 is owned by Richard Wright and I believe It was his fathers before him.

Richard restored it from a pile of bits. It had a very lucky escape when the chassis was sent for sand blasting. Apparently the apprentice thought it was scrap and it almost got thrown out yikes

Richard Also races a Tuscan challenge car and His son Ben has also raced the tuscan.

I think there are a few Jomar's in existance, some still owned by the family in the USA, then you're up to the Grantura Mk1 see A Register but I'm not sure how complete this is.
