Great vids, "spirited" driving - he must have known the road pretty well I reckon. Anyone else assuming he must have had nitrons (or similar) fitted? Bouncing around on those kind of roads at those speeds on standard set-up might be a little more hairy I reckon...

Yeah, I noticed that nono - unsettled the car quite a bit on one occasion.

Those vids reminds me of the Le Mans jaunts across the French countryside

Reminds me of my first Brands Hatch driver training alongside one of the school's instructor. After a handful of his laps showing breaking points, apex etc we swapped and I drove for the next 5. Parking up behind the pits before getting into the single-seater he pointed to my driving assessment on his clipboard. "OK, I don't do this very often but I'm going to give you 5 stars" and he drew them in red on the top of the page. Already thinking about future Grand Prix wins and moving to Monaco, I was brought up short when he said "Five stars means you're a dead cert to come out of Paddock backwards on the last lap" - he wasn't wrong either! laugh

Its being driven with confidence (perhaps too much yikes) and with local knowledge of the road and the cars handling capabilities. It's not what I'd do , but hey, he survived to post the clips hehe.

No. The engine note sounds about right, and the indicator bleeps when he turns in at the end of the 2nd vid sound about the right frequency.

It's not that fast anyway. I have been in convoys with this kind of speed, and on an empty road with no-one about this is what the car is for, and there are lots of these in North Yorkshire.

Remember it feels fast because the field of view is different on the camera to your own as a driver and the resolution is low (you can't see anywhere near as far as the driver can, or with the clarity). Judging by the revs I'd say that a lot of the time he is around the 70-80 common-distance-units-per-common-time-unit ().

You can live feed the speed! Notice the top end acceleration it goes slighty slower fps(Frames Per Second) and speeds up frequently. The sound is altered with it too. Then he puts it back to normal speed when slow, Yer he is going fast-ish. but not the speeds the camera is portraying!
