I drive a Griff but easily my favourite is the Tuscan RACE car. It's the meanest 'Bad Ass' TVR there is.

Now if only PW would do one for road use.

Had an S3c, drive a Griff 500 but I agree a Tuscan racer fully trimed would be the ultimate.

To my mind the Cerbera is the most aesthetically beautiful TVR there has ever been.

That said I drive a Chimaera because the top comes off...

I do like the newer cars but still like the Vixen S2/S3 and the origional Tuscan (with a sleeved 5.3 down to 4.7?). Vixens were (and still are) good fun to drive for a 1.6.

I've had a griff 400, Griff 500, Converted road going tuscan race car and now have a 4.5 Cerby. (I know lucky B4st4rd!!) You asked though!

I have loved every single one but probably for different reasons. Griff 400 = first ever TVR, used as second car, became a man overnight!

Then Converted Tuscan - WOW! Even bought it a spanking reg plate (ROK3T) coz it went like one, stunk of carbon monoxide, no roof, V.V noisy and very expensive to maintain, became satans sidekick overnight!!

Then Griff 500 for everyday use - Gorgeous Rosso Pearlescent + mag interior (the best!), Drove it evry day in rain and shine and snow, oh what fun - then became a father...

Now got a Cerby 4.5 for everyday use - Absolutely Spankinkingly fantstic (and it has 4 seats - family man now you know!). Has a sports exhaust note to die for, don't get many miles to the gallon coz I'm always inducing the overrun and listening to the snap, crackle, POP!!! This car has to be the most complete out of the ones i've had and apparantly it is the Devil re-incarnated into 4 wheels with twin bielzibub (sp!) pipes spitting at the tailgaters.

Sorry - must calm down now...

I Love 'em

the 1800s/60`s griff/tuscan v8 era, and last but not least the 70`s m series.

just a question (not having a go!!), how many post "s" series owners would know a classic tvr if they saw one? (come on be honest). the reason i ask is because about 95% of post 80`s owners looked at me horrified/stunned/blank etc.etc when i flash and wave at them in my old banger!!

I like the Taimar Turbo, but probably wouldn't touch one with barge pole. Unless I won the lottery that is.

I would, mind you I've got an S so I don't count I like the original 60's Tuscan and Griffith (thanks to Jack Griffith)At the moment my S is my fav, but I have to agree the Tuscan racer would be an ace road car, and would one day like a 90's Griff 500.

All very well, but if you want to really stand out in a crowd (even a crowd of TVRs), its gotta be a Wedge!.

The Imperial blue pearl Cerbera 4.2 I sold a few weeks back was awesome. The fastest, most menacing, crowd drawing car I have ever owned. Awesome.

However, I will never forget standing at the 1990 motor show and seeing the Griffith for the first time. The car that changed TVR forever and inspired every car they have built since. John Ravescroft (TVR chief designer) says "It's the only TVR I REALLY like"
Neil Anderson (TVR chassis designer) It's still the best car we have ever built. Well said chaps.

Yep, I do. I fancied a Grantura but there's not a lot of room for a fat bloke. It was the early models (pre M) that got me hooked on TVRs.

When I got to the point when I could indulge I wanted a convertible and couldn't find a decent 3000S so I bought an S3.

S series is the best looking, followed by early Griff. Tuscan racer - great and I like the lines of the 90's Griff but there are too many about.

Cheers
