This is the sort of thing that TVR needed to come up with to stay in Blackpool - A relatively cheap performace car with a nice lump in it that looked good and went bloody well - oh it MUST sound good too.

Come up with a soft top version and they may have a que.

Looks more like an Elise to me, maybe with a hint of Grantura.

The light recess and lines over the front wheel arches remind me more of the S than Chim/Cerb lines, although the rear of the roof looks a bit Z3M Coupe, but then again it easy enough to point out where inspiration has come from even if the designer didn't pen it with anything in mind.

Good luck to 'em though, hope is sells well.

Odd engine choices - 175bhp from the Busa compared to car engines producing 145 and 205bhp, weighing a good amount more.

yes
Agree with the Chim/Cerb comments too. It certainly looks like there's been some cross-breeding going on here.

Imagine - the power of a cerb and the handling and feedback of an Elise - if only...cloud9

I thought they'd ripped off the cerb the second I saw it too.

Not that I mind - it does look like a nice motor. Like the fact that they've gone for low weight, short ratio - high accelleration at the cost of top-end (which most don't use except for the odd track day anyway).

I don't know what I'd think of a car that revved that high though - I'd need some convincing on the noise.

I agree but a little more 'puffed up' - the lovechild of the older 'Mrs Robinson' Taimar and 'Benjamin' Cerbera...

Definately see the Z3M inspiration..and why not it all seem to gel together well .. good choice of engines - on paper.

Go to their webby for more pics. It's quite interesting from the back 3/4 view and definitely looks like a historic TVR than almost anything else.

If you are old and have a memory then it appears to be fundamentally based on the original Cox GTM from the 1970's, which then lived on as the GTM until their founders died and GTM was sold to David Keene at RDM in Coventry where he now turns out some nice cars
