That would be my guess too. He doesn't really want to say much in his advert anyway!

Who would pay good money for that based on the lack of details.

It's owned by Adrian Doman the guy that used to own Henley Heritage. I think the car is advertised in the classifieds on here too.

I have to say that it's a concept I would seriously consider when the time comes to getting a turscan

Chevy LS1 engines are very good. Nothing wrong with dropping one in a TVR, pitty the factory never bothered.

Didn't he fall out with his best friend the engine man?

He should have stuck to being a hairdresser

I think the engine will certainly make the car unique, but if he wants to sell it he needs to add more information and/or pictures to his advert. Wonder what it would drive like too. Is the engine much heavier than the six pot?

That and drop the price about 30%. OK, he's spent shedloads of money on the new engine and modifications, but that's *detracted* from the value of the original Tuscan, not added to it.

There is a guy on here that is currently doing the same, hes creating a 6.3L to go into a Tuscan.........I think its a fab concept. The prices of Tuscans are coming into an area which I could afford but I simply couldn't take a chance of having a rebuild done.......

Sorry, thinking about it again hes doing it to a Cerbera......don't know if they're the same chassis or not.......

I agree and do smell something slightly odd here!

Anyone remember the SpeedEight Tuscan project?

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=2&f=155&t=252912&h=0

Reading speedeight's first long post on that page, it was said the LSx engine is too wide for the SP6 Tuscan chassis. This was why he went for the more compact (and heavier) iron SBC engine.

12k.. scratchchin The sort of Tuscan I'd expect for that type of money is one with no engine. I've a feeling that the LS1 engine needs "fitting" to the car hehe

Thats exactly what you would get:-

"Its Nearly Done? And Im just starting to look forward to driving it this summer but a bussiness venture has presented itself and i need to use the capital invested in the Tuscan".
