Here we go again.

So this morning we hear on radio/tv were on the merry go round again. A third party is interested in moving into Bristol Avenue, how long will they mess with peoples lives. Reports say Administrators PKF will put it on sale as a going concern, have we not been here before and exhausted these routes. PKF, TVR, ABC T&G im sick of them all. Can we believe a word we hear and who appointed the Administrators anyway. Heeeelllllllppppppp.I think there may be more viable offers made with the administrators rather than NS/DO, after all the Administrators will only be concerned with getting rid of the creditors and recovering assets, they're not interested in making a killing. I should imagine all the assets (if they had any) have disappeared over the last few months, I heard Power were there on Friday doing a bit of "grave robbing".
I saw a similar report on our local BBC NW news this morning and the language they were using suggested that the receivers were hoping to find a buyer for TVR.

Which, if the Beeb are correct, means that NS might be walking away from the company and the TVR name too... Surely you can't sell the TVR company/brand as a going concern unless it remains TVR..
otherwise what would be the point in buying it? If there are little or no assets the TVR name and a desire to keep it going must be the driving force to buy??
Anyway... time will tell, but fingers crossed !!

None of this rumour and speculation would be going on if there was a clear statement of plans and direction from the ownership and/or senior management of the company who seem to utterly fail to comprehend how corrosive this paper talk is to any future plans they may have and the integrity of the brand.
The Daily Mirror ran an article about the blackpool goings on a couple of days ago and I swear blind they merely regurgitated a previous article from a previous paper!
only the brass and the receivers/administrators know whats going on at the moment and until the press gets its head and its ass wired together we wont know anything concrete until the day its all done and finished!
Sadly

I agree that the brand has suffered in the recent traumas, but all negotiations would have to be commercially confidential - the administrators have to get the best deal they consider possible for the creditors, therefore we realistically should expect to hear nothing until an announcement is formally made by the administrators or a potential purchaser. We could have to wait into January.
More pain for all the workforce, but at least it seems there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

Administrators PKF (UK) LLP said the firm would be sold as a going concern.
A working plant requires its skilled workforce after all.
They (PKF) are obviously hopeful of finding a buyer to keep it going, however of course then the spectre of PW wanting to end the lease on the Bristol Avenue site re-appears and the merry-go-round can begin again...............

If I could win the lottery, I would buy the company and find a way to keep it going.
I reckon the company cant be worth much at all in its present state, certainly much less than a lottery win ( especially with all the recent bad press, failing dealer network & of course, that ridiculous lease )
Lets face it, we all know how to keep it going, we all know the sort of cars we would like to buy
I think most of us have a very good idea where NS got it so wrong, & indeed where PW started to go wrong.
Just need some keen, finance savvy individuals with a bit of time on their hands, to come wading into town...... it may well happen yet
