Crikey, is Jenson Button behind the bid? That explains it! All the time we thought it was Jensen and actually it was Jenson! No wonder everyone is so confused.
With the FU that this situation has turned into it might as well be David "Kid" Jensen

It's Jensen, as in the registered trademark, owned by some spurious entity of zero value.
Absolutely nothing to do with original Jensen cars or the pathetic attempt of the last decade.
A pitiful shell such as this would not have any interest in employing many people.
You're going to need 100s of millions to get TVR back up and running and pruding numbers akin to the mid nineties. Any less than that and it is back to the barn with half a dozen rollie smokers to glue some club specials together.
No news means no news. Rumours, rumours, rumours. For anyone in the markets who has seen a company collapse then what has been going on for the last 6 months is just standard procedure.
I have no interest in where the cars are built, I would like to see the brand and business continuing, but suspect that we have seen the best. I certainly think that associating the remenants of TVR with some bunch of jokers masquerading around some worthless 'blast from the past' brand is just pathetic.
No offence meant to anyone.

Would that be the 7.2 crysler Big Block V8 with the Torque Flight Auto box i wonder

Torqueflite. Originally 6276cc with the 7212cc engine introduced in 1971. I like to get these things right

Hey come on ime close enough FWD thats more than most would have known even if the spelling was wrong

Dear Mr Chapman
We had this nice economical sports car called Jensen Healey for sale in the early 1970s and it should have cleaned up the market during the fuel crisis which nailed our long established Interceptor model. Although your 907 engine looked good on paper it turned out to be thoroughly under-developed and ruined our company. Thank you so much. Do give our best wishes to Mr De Lorean when you see him.
Regards
Donald Healey and Jensen Motors
PS Has anyone seen a Jensen-Healey registration LAP 1E recently?
