This Friday morning i decider to go and look at a new office over melton Mowbray way. So i look for my freelander keys but could not find them. And sitting there all alone where the griff keys. Well did i need to think which one i was going to take. So off I went going down the motorway until the tom tom. said take next exit. then the fun begins. a roads and b roads. going though village. popping and banging. with my smile getting bigger every time. Then i relies i miss the turning because i was enjoying the drive so mush. And the tom tom saying turn round asap. Well so i got back on route. then the tom tom said take the left so i did. a single track road. No one around. so foot down. and hold on tight. Then i notice a person standing by the road. he had his hand out. I thought he hitch hiking. But when I got closer his smile was getting bigger and well there no word to explain the happiness he had on his face. He was like plz plz stop. so i stop and he was like wow. Nice car. and ask could he jump in and drop him off to the end of the road. i was like yes of course. he was like never seen a car so beautiful. He said he could hear it miles away. It was amazing noise. i said you finish college. he said just broken up from school. for xmas. So i but my foot down and went off. He was like wow. He try to speak but he was speechless. at the end of the road he said thank you for the trip. i will never forget it. and i wish i could have one. i never seen any one so happy in my life. he said he never heard of TVR. but now he know what it all about. Just show that TVR is more then a car. And I thank all the workers who built my cars. You made one lad very happy. And one customer who will never forget where they came from.

That is what it's all about... if it was a Lambo or Ferrari, the driver would never have stopped!

Hmm - is TVR now going to be the car of choice for paedophiles? It's a sign of our times but I wouldn't have given the kid a lift - 'Mummy, Mummy this bad man forced me to get into his sports car!' Mr Policeman 'Sir why did you kidnap this child?'

It's sad but true.

Yes it’s true. We do live in a sad world. But if we all be nasty to one and other. and don’t help each other. Is this way the world is a sad place. Ok there are nasty people out there. But that’s a small %. The kid was at least 16+ i think he was in a levels. and if it was a child stuck in the country side. Where there was nothing more then fields. I would of phone the police and ask them where his parents where. And im only 25. so not like old man. More like a young man. but i know where you coming from. to many red tape. and social workers. It a crazy sad world. but at least we can make a diff.

Sorry mate - you should have said he was over sixteen - it was just a petrosexual encounter behind (oops freudian slip - meant between) consenting males then.

If a TVR can't cut through all this PC bullcrud, we are all sadly at a loss!

I would have done the same too but obviously made the kid sign a disclaimer before boarding the vehicle.

Great story, I can well imagine the kid's excitement and grin factor - I get the same feeling every time I go out in mine!

I reckon we're all big kids....

I picked up a hitch hiker at the Leicester services.
On my way home from Jules's{Track Car}. Was making progress, looked over to my passenger, he was gripping the seat.
"What's the problem?" I enquired, "I have never been this fast" he said. Left him somewhat dazed and confused at Toddington.
That's what TVRS are about.
