A little bit of T400R history on Ebay
Discussion
Right then, time for a shameless plug. We've put a little bit of TVR's motorsport history on Ebay. It's only a small bit, but we thought that someone, perhaps someone on here, might like it - possibly to hang up in their garage or somewhere.
The item is the passenger door from the Eclipse Motorsport TVR T400R. This particular door had a promising season in 2002, then nearly won the British GT Championship in 2003 - taking victories in the British Empire Trophy at Silverstone and at Oulton Park later in the year. The door was then involved in an almighty shunt at Brands, during the Championship finale, and was one of only two panels to survive intact.
Owing to the change of the T400R bodywork for 2004, the door retired from active competition and took up permanent residence in the Eclipse Motorsport workshop - making only occasional appearances for birthdays and bar mitzvahs.
Drivers who worked with the door were generally very pleased with it. Piers Johnson described it as: "An excellent door", while Shane Lynch said: "Top door there boss. By the way, d'you like dags?"
Shane has, in all seriousness, signed the door too - jolly nice chap that he is.
So here you go - it's not a Speed 12, but then again it's considerably cheaper to run:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eclispse-TVR-ra
By the way, the complete car is for sale too (with a full complement of doors), if anyone's interested.

I'd buy it on the strength of the humour shown in this thread
You daft lad.
PS T Cut that irish cock's signature - it will sell for more without it.

Ta. Well get bloody bidding then! By the way, for those who have no idea what car I'm talking about, here's the rest of it in action:
Scalextric also made a model of it, which I think is still available. So you could have the model and a bit of the real thing.
So go one then how much for the other doors complete with the rest of the car..
it's eligable for class A in the tuscan challenge
, or I could even stick a road car s/6 in it and run it in B
i see the LNT cars are up for 80k and the racesport once for 90k with spares package..
I really would love yo own one of these but i doubt the piggy bank would go that far...
px for a chim and a Tuscan racer?
