LT 2006 - Took the AA partybus home!
Discussion
Well, I left Plymouth at just after 7.00 a.m. yesterday the car doing it's job faultlessly as it has done for last two years. Did a couple of meets along the way and got to the Ace Cafe with time to spare!
We then did the long run through town, fans kicking in lovely in the long queue of traffic, stopped for a coffee in town with Boss Cerb and then by about 4.30 p.m. it was time to start thinking about heading west.
Coming up on Hammersmith I noticed in places that my lights were not their usual 'crap' but had elevated themselves to 'uber-crap!'
In fact so bad we only had sidelights!
So into BP we roll to check out the candles.
With the fuses, relays and stiches all doing their job it was deemed the lights were a vitctim of the river crossing near the beginning of the run from the Ace Cafe!
So the next call was to the friendly AA patrolman to get a lift organised but it wasn't all bad, we loaded the back of the truck up with sushi, beer, nuts and magazines and off we went, with the last two hours travelling back into the South West spent snoring in the back!
I have to say after about seven hours driving I can highly recommend it!
The car performed perfectly, the electrics were also up to the usual standard!
